Executive Summary
Rastriya Dalit Network (RDN) Nepal implemented Dalit Rights Campaign (DRC) with the financial support of Action Aid International Nepal (AAIN). It was implemented in 12 districts (9 districts of Sudurpaschim Province; Kailali, Kanchanpur, Darchula, Baitadi, Bajhang, Dadeldhura, Doti, Aacham and Bajura, 2 districts of Lumbini province; Banke and Bardiya as well as 1 district of Karnali province; Mugu). The project was implemented for the period from 1 January, 2005 to 31 December, 2013 aiming at Contribute ensuring the political, socio-economic and cultural rights of Dalit community.
Goal: Contribute ensuring the political, socio-economic and cultural rights of Dalit community
Objectives:
- To conduct the campaign for social justice and human dignity by protecting and enhancing human rights towards the constitutional rights of the Dalit community
- To conduct the campaign to end social discriminatory practices and exploitation towards Dalit communitieso
- Mobilize RDN Nepal as a strong nationwide people's organization by building knowledge through strong professional Dalit activists for the rights campaign.

- Model Village Campaign through popular Education & Social Mobilization
- Alternative VDC and Municipality council in 12 model village
- Conduct 70 events of political dialogue at local, regional and national level
- School Enrollment Campaign
- Pressure to scholarship in school level
- Essay competition on 'Dalit women in politics
- Legal support & counseling through Untouchability Crime Watch Center (UCWC)
- Fact finding on Dalit incident
- Day & celebration (21 march, Dalit rights day Jestha 21, Dalit rights week, HR Day, Land rights day)
- Dalit Parliament
- Media partnership campaign
- Alternative census in all model villages
