Appreciate the sentiment of Leave No One Behind.

Rastriya Dalit Network (RDN) Nepal was established in 2000  for the long-term solution of the multifaceted problems of the Dalit community with the basic slogan that “Another Nepal without  untouchability, let's build it,” I feel proud that some of the issues that were raised in the establishment of RDN Nepal have been addressed correctly after becoming local, national and international. Provisions related to Dalits in the constitution of Nepal, laws against caste based discrimination and untouchability, participation of Dalit community, declaration of untouchability free nation, liberation and restoration of Haliya declaration of liberation of Harawa-Charawa of Eastern Terai Nepal, formation of National Land Commission, resolution proposal related to Dalits from the National Assembly have been historical achievements.

The main problem of Nepali Dalits is in the political field (inclusion within parties, inclusion in people's representative organizations, inclusion in the administrative sector), in the economic field (end of landlessness, end of unemployment, elimination of exploitative practices) and in the social field (end of caste untouchability, end of impunity and end of deprivation in education) etc. To solve the problems together, the next decade ie 2021 to 2030 are being conducted as a campaign by the Rastriya Dalit Network as the Dalit Rights Decade.

During this campaign, the United Nations is reviewing the Sustainable Development Goals (Agenda 2030) this year, while the Nepal government is preparing the 16th plan. Advocacy should be done to address Dalit issues in that plan. The Study Report 2079 on the situation of freed Kamaiya, Kamlahari, Haliya and Harawa-Charawa should be implemented literally and we are struggling for rehabilitation after the liberation of Harrawa-Charawa, while recently ending the discrimination and oppression of the Dalit community and ensuring social, cultural, economic and political equality, prosperity and social justice. We are creating pressure because the National Assembly is in the process of implementing the Dalit-related resolution and its action plan. RDN Nepal would like to reaffirm its commitment to stand for human rights and social justice in the fight against all forms of discrimination, without compromise, keeping the Dalit community at the center. We would like to request all political parties, local people's representatives, civil society, professors, teachers, lawyers and media friends who are in favor of human rights and justice to continuously monitor this work.

Today, on the occasion of the 23rd establishment day of Rastriya Dalit Network (RDN) Nepal, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to its founders, partners in the campaign for social transformation, affiliated federations, networks and alliances, leaders of human rights and civil organizations, Dalit political organizations, Dalit activists, friends at all levels of RDN Nepal and common Dalits. Expressing our best wishes, we invite you to remain committed to the Dalit Rights 2030 campaign while sticking to your goals.
